Colorado Native Studios artist Erica Nicol enjoys working in almost every medium you can think of – painting, woodworking, leather, sculpture, ceramics, and more. Every piece is her original artwork produced on a variety of surfaces: these include engraved wood wall hangings, ornaments, magnets, leather flasks and journals.
Erica’s colorful paintings of animals and mountain scenery are printed on wood and metal. She also creates unique kitchen items such as cork coasters, trivets, engraved cutting boards, hand painted glassware and vases.
She also carves on the Breckenridge Snowsculptue Team!

Alicia was born in Perú very close to the beach in a city surrounded by an urban vibe.
She moved to Colorado seeking a new adventure without knowing that these gorgeous mountains will never let her go. Alicia enjoys snowboarding, hiking and creating jewelry and bad-ass hats.
Through the years her heart was filled with happiness and life treasures… The truth is she never let go her spicy peruvian spirit. During a period of soul searching, SPICYHEART was born. It reminds her of who she is, where she comes from and the way she wants to project her world. “No matter where you are just be yourself, be your own wild flower” as she says.

Nicoleta is a mixed media artist based in Denver, Colorado. Inspired by her cultural heritage as a Greek American, the whimsy of everyday subjects, and her endless love affair with the American West, Nicoleta’s paintings, collages, and wearable art celebrate a vast spectrum of mediums and influences.
From vibrant desert landscapes that pop with flora and fauna, to absurdist and otherworldly collages, Nicoleta’s canvas blends hues from her travels, daydreams and upbringing that she hopes will invoke joy and curiosity in her viewers. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Nicoleta is a self-taught artist who’s been painting and creating for as long as she can remember.

Nicole McChesney is owner, artisan and milker at Mountain Essentials based in Fairplay, Colorado. Her company specializes in goat’s milk soap & natural skin care. All her products are made with LOVE, using only the best ingredients and benefits goat’s milk has to offer – the vitamins and minerals that help the skin rebuild, add elasticity and retain moisture. Essential in our mountain environment.
A family business, their goat journey began in 2013 with Mama Effie and baby Penelope. Now their herd is 25+ with kidding season just around the corner. Today the family exhibits their prize winning goats all over the country. This is their ‘camping’.

Dave is creating functional art in his Rocky Mountain leather studio. Inspired by nature, people, color, sound, meaningful symbols and healthy living, Dave likes connecting with people through his timeless art and simple design.
After 30 years of leather working, Dave is currently focused on making moccasins, backpacks, purses, wallets, and hand dyeing the leather.

Jonah and Bailey Frykholm are local artists who find inspiration in nature. Bailey grew up in Fairplay painting in Watercolors. Jonah in Breckenridge, in a wood shop, learning the skills to create in wood, leather, metal and stone.
Bailey creates unique jewelry pieces with pressed flowers encapsulated in resin. Posts and chains are made with surgical steel to be hypoallergenic and durable. Chains are 925 sterling silver. Her watercolor prints and cards are also available.
Jonah makes pieces with wood collected locally, harvested standing dead. He uses turquoise and jasper stones in a variety of his pieces.

Bethanie is a contemporary landscape painter based in Denver, Colorado, whose connection with nature shapes her artistic journey. She grew up in the Rocky Mountains, where her parents took her camping and hiking as a kid. Those formative experiences ignited her adventurous spirit and deep-seated love for the great outdoors.
Her paintings are inspired by the physical response to the natural world along with the emotional response it elicits. She uses playful color, atmosphere, and intuitive abstract mark-making as a way to bridge that gap between the physical experience and the felt experience of a particular place.

Kerri Anne is the creator and designer of Soul Creations jewelry. She has been a Summit County resident for 12 years. Her mediums include photography, woodworking, and metalsmithing. She has been metalsmithing and creating handmade sterling silver jewelry for about 5 years.
Using traditional metalsmithing techniques she loves to create pieces that stand out and showcase the hand picked stones. Wearable artwork is something she really enjoys creating to “make your soul shine.”

Jessi Gerak graduated from Kent State University with a BFA in Ceramics in 2009. Her last year was spent creating in an ancient Japanese glaze style – Shino – which produces a unique and surprising crawl pattern and texture on every individual piece.
Her small batch pottery kiln fires between 2200 and 2500 degrees allowing the glaze to move and melt. She strives for a handcrafted look with unique variations of movement and flow. “I like to imagine the clay can still move even after being made solid” -she says.

The Woolly Moth mixes farmhouse decor with the mountains They call it “Mountain Farmhouse!”, the perfect addition to your cabin in Colorado or your farmhouse down in Texas.
Heather, the artist behind Woolly Moth gathers inspiration from the mountains and wildlife surrounding her cabin at 1000 ft. She loves utilizing watercolor and gouache paints for her artwork which she then produces on greeting cards and tea-towels and the like.
Woolly Moth proudly donates a portion of all sales to Elizabeth’s Voice 501 (c)(3) – helping provide dignified jobs for women in Uganda.
